Participatory journalism is a new journalistic approach which allows to not professional journalist show their point of view, exchange their experience and communicate. It can be different forums, informative portals and webblogs.

The best example of participatory journalism in Kazakhstan is online newspaper zonakz. It is informative portal, which provide readers with different articles on different topics.

www.zonakz.net – the most popular portal in Kazakhstan. It provides hot topics for discussions, which usually have not ordinary reaction of readers. This portal is popular because of its authors, but the special feature of zonakz, which differentiate it from other websites, is comments of readers, who sometimes write even more interesting and bright then professional journalists. The chief editor and owner of zonakz is Yuriy Mizinov.

To look at this portal with eyes of ordinary public I can say that interface is not so beautiful. There are no any pictures except some advertising. But it is not so important, the main interest and importance of this website are articles which make people interact with each other. Also zonakz has its own blog space. Webblogs here divided into four groups: journalists’ blogs, group blogs, blogs of politicians and of course blogs of ordinary people. There is a forum when readers can communicate with each other.

All articles are divided into some rubrics, which are important in order to find useful topic or entry.

I guess that this portal is useful for those who really interested in Kazakhstan politics. And for my understanding of the concept of participatory journalism zonakz is the best example.

During the life period we usually are members of different communities. They help people to recognize and realize their potential and spread interests. Communities can be online or offline, usually they have specific rules, norms and trends which should be followed by all members.

What is Journalism?

Journalism – is a big part of modern human life. It can be represented in different ways. For example, mass medis has a great power. It can influence on people’s way of thinking. Also mass media can be used as a tool to connect public and government.

Usually ordinary people rely on journalism, because they are naive. But sometimes journalists are not accurate, sometimes they do not have checked information. And people believe them, this is the main problem of journalism, because people believe in yellow press. It’s terrible.

Impossible to live

Some days ago I understand that it’s impossible to live without money.
Money. What does it mean? Why they are so important? Why parents tie their children just with money?
There lots of questions, and I don’t know answers. It’s terrible!

Well, actually I don’t understand exactly what should I do here. Our teacher asks to create an accout here. Maybe It will be usefull, maybe somebode can help me and maybe finally I will enjoy from having webblog here. To be honest I haven’t ever had webblog. =)))
